Carioli Engenharia team gathered at the company's trade show booth

About Carioli

Behind every movement, there is a team.

People who combine technical knowledge, close collaboration and attention to the process to turn challenges into engineered products.

Our history

Engineering through close collaboration

Understand the operation.
Build the next step.

Our work starts with a conversation about the process. The product, movement, space and people guide every engineering decision.

This approach underpins CR-NX Cartesian robots and vending machines: products configured around the application, with attention to mechanics, control and integration.

Our journey

From our first office
to new markets.

The connections, projects and people that move Carioli forward.

2024: Our first milestones

  1. 9 m² to get started

Our engineering work finds its first office in Londrina.

The 9 m² office brought together our earliest design activities. By December that year, the company would also have manufacturing and assembly space.

  2. 1st place at Ideatown

Our first award at Construtech Week brings Carioli closer to the innovation ecosystem.

The proposal for a high-efficiency stratified thermal storage tank won first place at Ideatown CW24. This participation paved the way for incubation at ConstruHub.

  3. First exhibition at FIIL

Carioli presents its work at the Londrina International Innovation Festival.

The company exhibited at FIIL 2024, held at Parque Ney Braga in Londrina. It was our first exhibition at an international event.

  4. Space to build

Our first 80 m² workshop brings design closer to assembly and testing.

The new facility provided space to manufacture, assemble and test full-scale equipment. Engineering work could now closely follow the construction of our solutions.

2025: Engineering in real-world applications

  1. Applied research in the field

A retrofit expands the equipment's test capacity from one valve to five.

Carioli adapted an existing machine for hydrostatic testing of gas and water valves. The five-valve-per-test result applies to this specific project.

  2. Inovemm and new products

The Spin-off program opens the way for development of the Modularis modular vending machine.

Carioli participated in Inovemm as an exhibitor and in business matchmaking. The Spin-off program provided technical training and led to Modularis R&D&I, still at the product development stage.

  3. First robots in operation

Two Cartesian robots integrate palletizing with the conveyors on Midiograf's line.

The first version combined two robots and four conveyors with centralized PLC control. The equipment was configured for the customer's existing line.

  4. Second robot version

Operating experience guides the next evolution of the palletizing system.

The update continued development of the Cartesian robots already integrated into the folder-gluer line. It considers the equipment, conveyors and the customer's operating conditions.

  5. Technology that brings people together

Supporting a visit by children from Londrina to UTFPR's Careers Fair.

Carioli sponsored the participation of children from a Londrina community in the fair. The initiative introduced visitors to the university and opportunities for technology education.

  6. Graduation from ConstruHub

Completion of the fifth incubation cycle, with the winning pitch at the closing event.

The company completed its incubation at ConstruHub in Londrina. Carioli's presentation won the pitch competition at the fifth cycle's Demo Day.

  7. Engineering in the community

Gabrielly is recognized by UTFPR for a project that benefited four social institutions.

The “Materials Engineering in the Community” project brought together students, companies and institutions in Londrina. It combined structural improvements, volunteering and activities supporting child development.

  8. From retrofit to our own design

Development of a new machine for hydrostatic valve testing.

Carioli designed the equipment with dedicated sealing, interchangeable assemblies and automatic and manual modes. Field experience contributed to a new engineering solution.

2026: New applications and connections

  1. Room to grow

A new facility with a total area of 360 m² creates room for expansion.

Operations began in an 80 m² area within the new facility. The total 360 m² area allows for planned expansion and assembly of more than one machine at a time.

  2. Innovation in management too

An invitation to join the Innovation Governance group and the start of the ALI Produtividade program.

In February, Carioli was invited to join the Innovation Governance group for Londrina's electrical, metalworking and mechanical sector. That same month, we joined Sebrae's ALI Produtividade program, with mentoring focused on operations.

  3. Healthcare automation

Delivery of a machine to automate the MRI examination process.

The project brought Carioli's automation expertise to a healthcare application, enabling remote equipment operation and communication with the patient.

  4. Third robot version

In the developed application, palletizing time dropped from 20 to 12 seconds per box.

The third version improved the Cartesian robot platform while retaining the customer's existing line. The times shown refer to the documented application, not a universal specification.

  5. Automation finds its voice

An exhibition at Midiograf and Carioli's first interview with SBT.

The “Era of Automation” event brought together partners from the Londrina region to present solutions at Midiograf. On that occasion, the company gave its first television interview.

  6. CapClean in Rio de Janeiro

Equipment developed for helmet sanitization expands Carioli's reach.

Carioli designed and manufactured the machine for CapClean. Shipping it to Rio de Janeiro marked the arrival of one of our machines in another Brazilian state.

  7. From the booth to the stage

At Inovemm, Eduardo takes part as a speaker and Gabrielly joins the organizing team.

Alongside Eduardo's talk and Gabrielly's role in organizing the event, Carioli participated as an exhibitor and in business matchmaking.

  8. Pride that inspires

UTFPR recognizes the founders' professional and entrepreneurial journey.

Eduardo Carioli and Gabrielly Takaku were recognized for the journey built on their education and work in engineering, entrepreneurship and innovation.

  9. Our story becomes a conversation

Eduardo and Gabrielly appear on the Conexão UTFPR Londrina podcast.

The founders shared Carioli's journey on the UTFPR Londrina podcast, in a conversation hosted by Professor Fabiano Palhares Galão.

  10. ALI Produtividade recognition

Sebrae recognizes our work to improve management and productivity.

Four months after joining the program, Carioli received Sebrae's Destaque ALI Produtividade 2026 recognition.

  11. Joining Sindimetal

Carioli joins Sindimetal Londrina and strengthens its industry connections.

Joining the association strengthens the company's representation in the Londrina region's electrical, metalworking and mechanical sector.

  12. Connections with the United States

Hausk's customer visits Carioli to follow the development of the pet-product vending machine.

Carioli welcomed the customer from the United States to see the facility and follow the machine developed for Hausk. The equipment is intended for the US market.
