The case packing analysis combines product handling with packaging availability. Item orientation, grouping, and protection determine gripper and movement sequence. Closing or feeding boxes may require additional equipment.

How it works
The operation in 3 steps.
- Prepare the set
Products are oriented or grouped at the collection point, while the box is positioned to receive. Quantity per handle, packaging dimensions and presence of separators guide the preparation of each set.
- Accommodate the items
The robot transfers the items to the box according to the defined arrangement: quantity, orientation and order of accommodation. The trajectory and release of the gripper must preserve the product, packaging and items already positioned.
- Forward the box
Once filling is complete, the box goes to closing, identification or transportation, depending on the line. The supply of the next package needs to follow the cycle; these interfaces are defined along with the cell scope.

- Dimensions and variations of products and boxes.
- Quantity, orientation and standard of accommodation.
- Need for grouping, separators and packaging care.
- Supply of boxes and interfaces with closing and transportation.
Conditions to evaluate
- Assembly, feeding and closing of boxes are steps to be defined in the scope.
- Format changes may require adjustments, devices or replacement of gripper.
- Fragile products and separators require testing with representative samples.
